Omari Hutchinson names the 3 Chelsea players he is getting on with ‘a lot’

Chelsea continue their week of warm weather training in Abu Dhabi this week, as many of the rest of the squad continue at the World Cup.

Some of our World Cup stars have been knocked out, but they will seemingly get a bit of time off now before returning to training.

But the hard work continues for the remaining Chelsea players who are busy preparing for a friendly match against Aston Villa on Sunday, and then the return of the Premier League at the end of this month.

Graham Potter has taken a 25-man squad over to Abu Dhabi this week, and many of them are players from the academy to fill the gaps. You can be sure that he is taking a close look at many of them.

Omari Hutchinson had already been getting selected in the first team squad before the World Cup, so you can bet he will have great chances of continuing that now.

The 19-year-old has named three Chelsea players who he is getting on with a lot, in an interview on the Chelsea website this week.

He said: “I’m looking forward to getting advice from the older players, the more experienced ones. The boys who are in the World Cup helped me before they went away as well.

“I’ve been getting on with Reece James a lot. Carney Chukwuemeka and I get on well, Trevoh Chalobah too. All of the boys really.”
