While the focus was on Romelu Lukaku as Belgium were held to a 0-0 by Croatia, the real man of the match was Josko Gvardiol.
The central defender has long been linked to Chelsea, and we can truly see why now.

He’s still young, he’s physical and like all Croatians he seems full of determination and fighting spirit. According to Matt Law, he was a target even before the new owners arrived.
🗣️ @Matt_Law_DT on Josko Gvardiol:
“Chelsea have liked Gvardiol for a long time. He’s been scouted by the club even before the new ownership. I’m told even the new recruitment team really like him.”
