Highly rated 19-year-old trying to ‘impress’ Graham Potter in training ‘with goals and assists’

The current World Cup has provided an amazing opportunity for many Chelsea players right now.

Whilst many of the lads have been away on international duty, the rest of the squad have continued training with Graham Potter after having a short break.

Chelsea moving to try and sign Ghana’s World Cup star!

With squad absences, it has given the chance for many of Chelsea’s young rising stars from the academy to join in training and make the numbers up.

But many of them will not just be simply making the numbers up, many of them are taking this chance with both hands to impress Potter in training.

The lads are currently out in Abu Dhabi for some warm weather training and a friendly match against Aston Villa on Sunday, and one player in particular is doing all he can right now to impress Potter in training and doing all he can to knock hard on his door for a place in the senior squad.

Omari Hutchinson has been speaking to the Chelsea website: “I always try to impress the manager when I go on the pitch,’ the teenager said this week. “I try to do that with goals and assists, that’s my main objective.

“It’s been a great experience so far. The boys are getting closer together and the training has been very hard.”
