The World Cup came at a funny time for Chelsea’s goalkeeping situation, as the Blues are left uncertain whether Kepa Arrizabalaga or Edouard Mendy is going to end up being their number one once the Premier League restarts in a month’s time.
Whatever happens, Mendy is making sure he makes the most of being Senegal’s number one. He made an amazing stop yesterday to keep the score at 2-0 as Qatar desperately pushed to get back into their game. Senegal will need a few more of those if they want to make a real impact at this tournament.
