(Video) “Disjointed, unorganised… ” – Andy Gray slams Chelsea shape and style

Chelsea played badly in the first half against Arsenal, and on BeinSport Andy Gray wasn’t pulling any punches on how Graham Potter had set things up.

He said the Blues looked “disjoined, unorganised” and as though Potter had grabbed ten players at random and chucked them out on the pitch. He noted that there was exceptional energy on the bench in the form of Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher, too.

As Richard Keys pointed out in withering fashion, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has had 4 touches. That’s the sign that things just aren’t working.

  1. Havertz was wasteful. He caused the goal scored by Arsenal as he fail to boot the ball away.
But Cucurella kept Saka quiet throughout the game. Thiaga Silva must learn to pass the ball earlier because he caused the cornerkick that resulted in the goal. He was unaware about the presence of Jesus at his back which nearly resulted in a goal by Jesus in the first half..
Loftus Cheeck must also stop dribbling in the Chelsea goal area.
In all they manage to stop Arsenal from scoring eccept the corner kick by Saka. Mendy and all the defendets were poor in defending the vorner kick.
