Telegraph: Chelsea will hold talks over signing Declan Rice in coming weeks

Chelsea are putting some big transfer plans in place and they have some very ambitious targets they are looking at.

The most ambitious is England and Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who The Telegraph has confirmed again today has interest from Chelsea.

But another England midfielder Chelsea have consistently been keen on signing in the last few years is former academy player Declan Rice, who of course, is currently at West Ham.

The Hammers midfielder is still wanted back by Chelsea, as per the report above, and the club aim to hold talks over signing him in the coming weeks.

They won’t be alone, with other clubs showing a serious interest in signing Rice as well, in a move that looks likely to happen now in the summer transfer window.

His contract is running down now at West Ham, and there have been no signs of him signing an extension at the club.
