After he did his controversial interview with Piers Morgan last week, Manchester United didn’t have any other option than to terminate his contract ‘by mutual consent’.

The rumours started right away, and Chelsea’s name was thrown into the mix as it has often been since the summer.
Todd Boehly has clearly had an idea to sign Ronaldo since then, but manager at the time Thomas Tuchel said he didn’t want Ronaldo. It appears that Graham Potter has also now said the same, and he doesn’t want Ronaldo either.
According to reliable reporters Matt Law of The Telegraph, and Nizaar Kinsella of The Evening Standard this morning, Chelsea are not interested in signing Ronaldo.
