Official: Chelsea announce another new arrival to the club

Chelsea have officially announced the arrival of another new addition to the club today.

The Blues have posted on their official Twitter account, as seen below, that they have made yet another addition.

Brighton recruitment analyst Paul Winstanley has been appointed to the role of Director of Global Talent and Transfers.

Winstanley obviously knows current Chelsea manager Graham Potter very well from their time together at the club, and now they have been reunited with immediate effect.

Chelsea have been making new additions to the recruitment team in the last weeks and months and Winstanley is the latest to be confirmed. They are looking to put experts in the field within recruitment and football operations in order to make sure they make the best decisions on all things football going forward.

Sources: Chelsea make contact with agent of Leandro Trossard ahead of January move!

Winstanley says that he is thrilled to be joining Chelsea and working with Potter once again.

Winstanley said of his appointment: “I’m thrilled to be joining Chelsea and to continue working with Graham Potter and his team. There is a real sense of excitement and momentum around the new ownership and this project. I’m looking forward to working with such an outstanding group of colleagues as the club moves into a new era.”

Owner Todd Boehly also had some words. He said: “Paul is going to be a great addition to Chelsea. He’s highly respected and is a key senior addition as we continue to build a world class sporting team with a huge depth of talent, ambition and commitment who will work closely with us to drive Chelsea forward. Paul shares our philosophy and will fit seamlessly into the organisation.”
