Lewis Hall set for second start in a week after impressive Man City performance

The reliable sources that have Chelsea team news every week now are exciting something pretty exciting.

Lewis Hall is apparently going to start for the Blues today after impressing in midweek against Man City in the Carabao Cup.

The youngster was a menace down the left flank and almost scored twice.

His inclusion probably means Marc Cucurella moving to left centre back, and Kalidou Koulibaly dropping out. The Senegal star is fit, so it’s a bit worrying on that count. So far, he’s not looked up to speed in the Premier League.

In a way, it’s a shame that Hall doesn’t have more experience at playing right wing back. That’s where we’re really short now, with Reece James out.

Still, the good news is that this should be the last game we play without a lot of our injured stars, and it has all created a good opportunity for Hall to step up and shine.
