Chelsea now linked with new World Cup winger

As what was always expected to happen during this World Cup, Chelsea have been linked with another new name.

The Blues naturally have a large pool of players on the shortlist that they are looking at as potential targets. The new owners want to add more top talents to the squad over the next couple of windows.

Sources: The truth about Mason Mount’s contract situation!

Every World Cup year though, we will see new links to new players, and according to Goal Espana, Chelsea could make a January move for Spain winger Nico Williams, who has a €50m release clause.

Williams came off the bench for Spain against Germany in the 1-1 draw on Sunday, and the 20-year-old is pushing hard to get a starting place.

To be honest though, this rumour appears to be much more speculative rather than based on any solid inside information of Chelsea’s targets. It also states PSG, Liverpool or Arsenal ‘could’ also be keen to sign him.
