(Video): Potter notes Chelsea’s desire to “win the ball back” – hinting at an ever higher press

Chelsea were often happy to play quiet patiently and deeply out of possession when Thomas Tuchel was in charge, especially against good sides in the Champions League.

Tonight they started a little timidly, but soon starter pushing higher up, as noted by Chelsea TV after the game. Potter agreed that his team’ desire to “win the ball back” was key to their 3-0 win over AC Milan.

It’s something we’re likely to see more of as he settles in with these new players at his disposal.
