(Video): Kai Havertz puts Chelsea ahead with sweet strike

Chelsea are back in front, and it’s another brilliant strike from a Chelsea player.

Kai Havertz was passed the ball on the edge of the box and found the space and time to pull the ball back, lift his lift foot and drive a lovely curled shot into the top left corner.

It’s one of the moments we see from the German now and again which reminds us how good he can be. If only he was able to do it consistently.

You can see the goal in the clip embedded here:

  1. It was indeed a sweet strike. Absolute golazo!

Funny how, once again, SuperFrank can’t bring himself to mention Pulisic (who assisted the goal) in a positive light. According to SuperFrank Havertz “was passed the ball” (passive voice reminds us SuperFrank is a real pro, lol!) as if some anonymous entity had delivered it to him in a dangerous position. Sure, he did the rest in scoring a wonderful goal, but for GOD’s SAKE he was assisted by a guy in Chelsea blue. SuperFrank seems to be memory impaired, but that guy has a name—Christian Pulisic.
