Graham Potter was very happy with his Chelsea team’s performance tonight, although he tried not to be too excited after the game.
He wants this to start to look like a routine for him, as a new face in the Champions League, so he went with the reserved “I can’t complain” about the performance rather than gushing.
That was apt – his team were good but Milan were very bad. If he gets the same scoreline in Milan next week, he will be entitled to be much more effusive.
You can see the coach speaking in the clip embedded here:
"The attitude and application of the players was fantastic."
"Overall I can't complain. A clean sheet, three goals, great personality of the players. Really good."
A job well done in Graham Potter's eyes as they get their #UCL campaign back on track! 👏
