Joe Cole points out one very promising thing that Conor Gallagher proves about Graham Potter

Joe Cole is on Chelsea duty for BT Sport’s Champions League coverage tonight – as usual – and he has been praising new manager Graham Potter in the post match coverage after Chelsea’s win over AC Milan.

He pointed to a few things – but ended on noting the commitment and conviction he saw all over the pitch from the coach’s players. They were running both on the ball and off the ball, and looking keen to impress.

Cole noted that the substitutes were as motivated as the starters: “even Conor Gallagher, who was on for ten minutes, was at it” the former Blue pointed out in his punditry after the game.

We noticed that, and we noticed a general focus from the side that indicates they’re sold on Potter’s reign for now. His abilities as a coach are clear, and if he has the dressing room pulling with him, we can achieve great things.
