Welsey Fofana left the game against AC Milan tonight after picking up a knee injury, and after the game he was seen leaving Stamford Bridge on crutches.
Graham Potter didn’t have any other answers about his fitness, so that’s all we have to go on in terms of guessing the severity.
We will be as hopeful as we can here and say that it looked more like a tweak than a tear, and the crutches could be precautionary. We shouldn’t expect him to play at the weekend in any case, but with any luck it won’t be an issue beyond that.
