When Chelsea signed Wesley Fofana and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang this summer they were actually reuniting a pair who were at the same club together once before – at St Etienne when Fofana was just a kid.
They’ve just done a lovely joint interview for Chelsea TV where they talk about their careers – the good and the bad – since then.
“I’ve been through a lot of bad moments,” Aubameyang said, pointing to people calling him just a sprinter as a dark time for him.
Still, it sounds preferable to Fofana’s broken leg…
