Tuchel decision had been made before Champions League defeat

Chelsea have sacked Thomas Tuchel, and all the journalists covering the club are scrambling to get their exclusives in.

While Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph focuses on the search for a replacement, David Ornstein at The Athletic has gone into more detail about how Tuchel’s sacking came about.

Interestingly, he claims that the decision to remove Tuchel was made before last night’s Champions League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

If it’s crazy to sack Tuchel after that loss – and we think it is – it’s even more mad to sack him without it. That means the decision had been made on the back of a slow start to the season, with the manager having had some of his important summer signings for just one or two training sessions before he was removed.

We’re sure there’s more of this story to be told, but we don’t like what we’ve heard at all.

  1. I don’t support to sack him by now,we have to give him some opportunities.
I don’t like the way they use to handle this case make us give him chance I’m begging Chelsea is playing well but the problem is that they not play outside short they supposed to learn how to play outside short because if you come to ball possession we won but to score is problem we supposed to learn outside short last last we have to give him chance he is a good coach
