Medical director who has been at Chelsea since 2011 leaves Chelsea as Clearlake clear-out continues

The incredible gutting of Chelsea by the new owners continues.

It made sense that they would want to move on the senior boardroom figures, but the overhaul has gone from director level all the way down, from Bruce Buck to Marina Granovskaia, Petr Cech to Thomas Tuchel, Steve Atkin and beyond, the whole structure is being changed from top to bottom.

Matt Law has had the scoop on almost all of this, and his latest exclusive is that Dr. Paco Biosco will be next out of the door.

The Spaniard has been at Chelsea since 2011, and has a long established working relationship with many of the players in this squad.

As Law points out, it was instructive that Wesley Fofana was flown to America for his medical rather that it being conducted by the club’s existing medical staff.

First team doctor Dimitrios Kalogiannidis will take over as interim medical director while the club prepare a permanent appointment.
