Chelsea are really making big moves to clear out a lot of the deadwood in the squad, and there are few players who have been kicking about for as long as Kenedy.
The winger actually came back for a brief cameo spell in January of this year, and he actually ended up making some first team appearnces, but before that had been bouncing around the world on loan for some time.

His better recent spells came in La Liga with Getafe and Granada, so perhaps it’s no surprise that that’s where we’ve finally been able to shift him.

Kenedy never looked much like a player who would make it at Chelsea, and despite a couple of early runs in the team, this permanent transfer has been a long time coming.
