The CIES football observatory always save their best posts for the international breaks, when there isn’t much going on, and their latest is sure to create a lot of discussion.
They listed the best players born in 2004 or afterwards, and Gabriel Slonina, Chelsea’s summer signing, was in second place.
The list is heavily weighted towards players who play regularly, so Barcelona sensation Gavi is followed by Slonina, who has been Chicago Fire’s first choice keeper for some time and remains there on loan even after his signing for Chelsea.
