“I have notebooks” – Former Chelsea magic man has ambitions to coach

Many former players naturally make that step into coaching when they retire from playing the game.

Some will take other directions; some might not even stay in football at all and try something completely different. But when you have the natural obsessive football mind that Cesc Fabregas has, there is only one option and that is to stay in the beautiful game, and we as fans, will only benefit from that.

Fabregas was a superb player for many clubs, and we were luckily enough to witness him play at Stamford Bridge week-in-week-out for some years.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has confirmed that he will be moving into coaching and has already started taking notes from various managers he has worked under. He’s certainly one we could mark under a potential return to Chelsea one day, but it sounds like Cesc has keen ambitions to coach at Barcelona as well!

As cited by Barca Universal, Fabregas says: “I have notebooks with notes about the things I liked and didn’t like about the different coaches I’ve had. To keep it in mind for the future.

“I can’t deny that it would be a dream to coach Barça one day. Time will tell. Right now all I want to do is prepare myself well to become a coach.”
