Christian Pulisic linked with winter escape from Chelsea

Christian Pulisic’s problems at Chelsea were largely blamed on Thomas Tuchel, especially by the end.

Pulisic was one of the first team stars who had quite clearly fallen out with the Blues boss, and he played less and less as time went by.

Tuchel is gone now – but Pulisic is still being linked with an exit.

Today’s Calciomercato links him with a move to Juventus – an idea that can “gain momentum” in the build up to January.

It’s hard to see where the money comes from if they want to buy him, especially at the €35m level quoted in this piece. But a loan could suit both sides.

In a unique way, this will all depend hugely on what happens at the mid-season World Cup. If he’s great, it shouldn’t be hard to sell or loan him in January if we still want to. If he’s bad – we might be stuck with him all year.
