Chelsea striker says he’s “not 100%” thanks to these two reasons

Chelsea’s summer signings have had a mixed impact so far, with Raheem Sterling impressing, Marc Cucurella looking useful, Kalidou Koulibaly shaky, and the rest really arriving too late to really have a fair judgment made yet.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was among the last to arrive, and he has the extra burden of arriving with an injury suffered just days before.

He’s made a couple of starts for us already without looking sharp – at all – but in speaking to Chelsea’s official app he claimed that this was just a natural lack of sharpness, and it was his mask that was really affecting him.

A broken jaw is not nice – but shouldn’t take too long to heal, and this unexpected few weeks off for the team will hopefully mean he’s finally at 100% by the time we next see him.

Armando Broja is pushing for a place, and there’s no telling what a new manager will want from him.
