Chelsea owners watching youth team struggle in Croatia

Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are at the youth team game against Dinamo Zagreb at the moment.

Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard reports that the pair are watching the young Blues – currently 3-1 down to their impressive Croatian rivals.

To be fair, it shouldn’t be that surprising. They’ve flown over for the first team’s away game later today, and if they had a spare hour or two, going to the see youth team play sounds rather nice.

They pair are certainly not afraid of the spotlight – they’ve been front and centre of every contract signing photo and been pictured holding up blue shirts with each of the summer arrivals.

Roman Abramovich wouldn’t have done that – but then again he probably wouldn’t have gone to watch the youth team play either.

Let’s hope they get to see a more convincing result later this afternoon when the men’s team play.
