Chelsea have been linked with bids for Fulham prodigy Luke Harris after the 17 year old scored a superb hatrick against the Blues last month.
The Sun claim that Chelsea are in hot pursuit of the Wales U19 prodigy, although competition will be hot for the talent from across West London, who has made one senior appearance for the Whites.
It’s a move that would certainly fit with Todd Boehly’s summer strategy of signing talented young players, although he’s yet to show the kind of Premier League ready ability that players like Carney Chukwuemeka did before Chelsea spent big on him.
We very much doubt that the final fee would be anywhere near the £30m cited in the article unless Harris starts making regular top flight appearances, but his incredible talent makes it seem likely he will one day see some big money thrown at him if his career continues on its current trajectory.
