Chelsea are being strongly linked with rumours surrounding a departure for Christian Pulisic, the American winger who has struggled to nail down a place at the club long term.
Not too many fans would have a problem with that, just as not many had a problem with Timo Werner leaving, and not many would have a problem with Hakim Ziyech leaving.
But all of them going? We’ll certainly need reinforcement then.
Maybe that’s why the word that Pulisic could go is being accompanied by rumours of an arrival – Pedro Neto of Wolves. Caughtoffside have an exclusive column from Fabrizio Romano where he puts it plainly that the Blues are joining Arsenal in seriously considering the winger.
Would he really be a better option than the roster of flops we already have? We’re not sure. But he’s direct and strong and experienced in this league, so we can see the temptation.
