Marc Cucurella is a Chelsea player, and could make his debut tomorrow.
Thomas Tuchel’s press conference was ongoing as the deal took place, and the Chelsea boss said he hoped that it was all completed by the noon deadline so that the Spain international can potentially feature in tomorrow night’s game.
Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard seems to have the information that it was indeed completed in time, so Cucurella is eligible for tomorrow evening’s 5.30 clash against Everton.

The £62m deal was signed off and the player registered before midday, so he is in contention to make his debut on Sunday.

Usually we would consider it very unlikely that a manager throws a player in to a game 24 hours after they signed, but given Tuchel mentioned that deadline himself it seems perfectly possible in this case.
Ben Chilwell’s long return from surgery is still obviously a concern, as was clear from other things that Tuchel said, and while it may be a Marcos Alonso start, we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Cucurella get some minutes later on.
