ESPN have just been discussing Gabriel Slonina’s move to Chelsea after the goalkeeper completed a £12m move yesterday.
He’s still 18, but his long term future is bright. They questioned whether Chelsea would be the right move for his development.
They’re obviously a little scarred from the Christian Pulisic experience – having their wonderkid go to a top team and then end up disappointing and not even playing at times.
But with Slonina, it will be a few years before he’s even competing for first team minutes, and he will get plenty of games on loan elsewhere.
