Thomas Tuchel is speaking to the Sky cameras ahead of today’s big game against Tottenham.
He was asked about whether he had changed to a 433 or whether Reece James had moved into the back 3, and his reply showed a lot about his thinking for this game.
He explained that in response to the aggressive wing backs of Spurs, his team was going to have to use a back 5. He’s not keeping anything hidden here.
Let’s hope it works out, we will be missing out on James’ attacking threat down the right.
