Marc Cucurella’s press conference as a new Chelsea player was always lined up to be this week after Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly did the last two weeks – but we probably weren’t expecting the Spaniard to have so much to talk about.

Top of the list was the controversy when Cristian Romero pulled his hair before the final corner of the game. Cucu was asked whether there was any chance he would trim that ‘fro, but he said “never.”

Quite right too. Don’t let the rule breakers change your style, Marc – just pray that those in charge apply the rules properly next time.
