Kalidou Koulibaly has had many Premier League teams interested in him over the years, but finally he’s come to Chelsea.
Asked why he’d chosen the Blues, it seems like it’s a lot to do with his teammates. Jorginho was a colleague of his at Napoli, while Edouard Mendy plays with him still for Senegal.
According to K2, both were in contact with him in the buildup to his transfer, persuading him it would be fun to join up as colleagues for the Blues.
