Inter Milan are among the European teams interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah on loan or permanently from Chelsea.
That’s the news broken by David Ornstein last night, with reports of major teams in the Premier League and beyond keen on the defender.
According to the report, the Blues would rather keep him as a squad player this season, but understand his desire to play regularly.
🚨 Chelsea open to Trevoh Chalobah loan before deadline. #CFC respect wish for game time but won’t allow buy option or obligation. Particular interest from PL & also Serie A sides in European comp – important to 23yo defender if moves abroad @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/LlDE3kahXD

The versatile centre back had played regularly in the Championship and then with Lorient before breaking into Thomas Tuchel’s squad last season.
He made plenty of appearances, and as far as we can see as it stands he’s likely to get plenty more this season. But if we do sign Wesley Fofana, we can understand why he would think his starts – certainly in the Premier League and Champions League – would drop significantly.
The 23 year old has shown everything it takes to be a Chelsea player, it would be such a shame to lose him now.

Useless business doing by Chelsea
Chelsea should keep him incase of injury
Thomas tuchel is doing bad business in Chelsea, did u think fofafa is better than chalobar ? If not for Frank, Chelsea can never discover mount, tammy,James, tomori guehi etc. Buying can never solve Chelsea lapses , need to be fixed by the future once
If Chalobah should leave Chelsea because of Fofana, it must only be on short loan to a Premier League team who would actually play him regularly. He’s no longer a player on probationary level. He’s already a squad player.
