Pulisic “tempted” by Serie A – but Chelsea may not let him go on loan

The news that broke on the Athletic a few hours ago through Andy Mitten that Christian Pulisic is being considered as a loan target by Manchester United is causing ripples across the world of Chelsea insiders.

They’ve all trying to pretend they knew first, or knew better.

Ben Jacobs of CBS Sport has jumped on the bandwagon to say that Serie A is still an option, with Juventus also mentioned in the Athletic piece.

Jacobs goes as far as to say that Pulisic has spoken to his USMNT colleague Weston McKennie about how things are in Turin.

That move seems more likely to us that Man U, which would see Chelsea strengthen a rival.

What we’re really unsure about his him being sent on a loan at all. If he goes out for a year, he will return with just one year left on his deal. He would surely sit that out, and leave for a free after that, leaving Chelsea out of pocket.
