Timo Werner is a nice guy and he’s tried his best at Chelsea, but we’ve seen enough of it now, and it seems like even he is pretty convinced it’s not going to work out now.
His stats from the Premier League in that time aren’t pretty – he’s averaging one league goal every 389 minutes, playing in one of the better teams in the league in that time.
He’s converting his shots at an 8.1% rate, as Sky Sports pointed out in their graphic about his form today.
