Chelsea are soon to wrap up the signing of Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona, that is at least according to one source this morning.
The front page of Catalan paper Diario Sport have ran the featured story claiming that Chelsea and Barcelona are about to close the deal for more than €80m.

Seemingly we are still waiting on the greenlight from the player before Chelsea officially submit that offer, but you must feel with headlines like this, that this agreement can’t be too far off. Let’s see what happens.
Frenkie De Jong is will be a good signing for Chelsea. I love seeing him playing for Chelsea. However we must sign players who have their hearts at Chelsea not elsewhere. In that way we will avoid the mistake we did with Lukaku. It pains to here a player saying he loves another club before even completing three months playing for you club. It’s not wrong for players to have ambitions for big clubs, but we also love those who have a professional respect to binding deals we make with them.
