The under 19 European Championships sounds like a modest competition, but it is the sharp end of the European youth talent conveyor belt, and if you shine in that tournament you’re usually already on the verge of breakout senior success.
Chelsea’s summer signing Carney Chukwuemeka was player of the tournament as England won it this summer, and on Twitter Alex Goldberg found an image of him taking on Cesare Casadei, another outstanding figure at the competition.

The pair will likely soon have the chance to face off in Chelsea training, with Casadei on the verge of joining the club from Inter Milan.
