Chelsea are somewhat in the middle of a squad rebuild this summer, although I have some major doubts just how much of it will be able to get done in the remaining weeks.
There have been plenty of reports linking Chelsea with a move to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong, yet you look at the current midfield and it already looks stacked. So you’d suspect that if he does come in, then one or two of the current centre midfielders will have to depart.

Transfer insider Dean Jones has been speaking about this recently, and he has been told that one of N’Golo Kante or Jorginho could leave the club this window, with both players now into the final year of their contracts.
He also believes that the most likely out of the two to leave is Jorginho, with the Italian international having interest from Serie A, as reported below…
"I was always told to expect that one of [the holding midfielders] would probably leave #Chelsea. At this stage, it’s most likely to be Jorginho because he’s got the most interest and there’s the potential of him going to Serie A."
