Former Arsenal striker has no intention of leaving Barcelona for Chelsea

Fabrizio Romano surprised everyone late last night when he claimed that Chelsea were interested in signing Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

It’s actually such a bizarre link that we’re more incline to believe it. You just wouldn’t make something that weird up, basically.

The good news for Chelsea fans – who were largely either non-plussed or just downright disappointed by the idea – is that the former Arsenal man has no intention of leaving Barcelona, according to the follow up piece by Roger Torello in Mundo Deportivo today.

There’s been plenty of back and forth between the two clubs this summer, but PAE won’t be among those who become part of the tug of war. He’s happy there, he can score lots of goals against some pretty open teams at the bottom of La Liga, as well as living in a brilliant city.

Returning to the tough and cold winter of the Premier League just doesn’t seem to tempt the 33 year old.
