Emerson Palmieri’s move to West Ham, which looked close to being agreed, is off, according to multiple sources in the last hour.
It seems like the left back’s wage demands are causing issues, and he now won’t move to London Stadium.
That will be immensely frustrating for Chelsea, who seemed to be close to agreeing a £13m with an additional £2m in add ons. After signing Marc Cucurella, the Blues are overloaded at left back and getting rid of Emerson for a good fee was the perfect solution.
Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard calls it a “shock.”

Now they’ll have to go back to the drawing board – although another loan for the former Roma man doesn’t seem ideal. With a fee that close to being agreed, there’s a slim home that Emerson can be talked round if no other options appear later in the window – but West Ham may have given up on this move entirely.
Lamentablemente la gestión anterior infló los salarios, por ejemplo un Havertz que no está en pleno rendimiento gana como 250 mil semanales
