Raheem Sterling to Chelsea is getting closer by the day and it really seems we are at the finish line of this saga, with final details being ironed out.
According to The Telegraph, Raheem Sterling is ‘expected’ to sign a five-year contract with the Blues, which includes the option of a sixth year.
Sterling will earn a little over £300,000-a-week which will make him the highest earner in the current squad.
The report then mentions the England international is expected to join his team-mates in the US next week ahead of Chelsea’s first friendly against Club America in Las Vegas.
The Blues have already agreed a fee worth £45 million + add-ons, which takes the deal past £50 million.
It will be an excellent feeling when we see Raheem in a Chelsea kit.
