Romelu Lukaku is back on the Inter diet after sluggish year with Chelsea

The Daily Mail are reporting that Romelu Lukaku has been put on a special diet by Inter Milan after moving there on loan from Chelsea.

Sound familiar? Well, that should be no surprise. It’s a repeat of exactly what happened when he arrived at Inter from Manchester United originally.

It seems that the English diet – or at least the diet that the English clubs have the striker on – makes him gain a lot of weight, while in Italy they prefer a leaner Lukaku.

Although we’re not sure how eating two packets of Gnocchi after a game (as is claimed in the piece) helps with weight loss.

Let’s hope this diet really works wonders, he scores 30 goals in Serie A, Inter buy him permanently, and we don’t have to worry about him (or his diet) any more in the future.

He can’t do much worse, or look much more sluggish, than he did in his 12 months here.
