Milan Skriniar could end up being the last top centre back on the market – and Lukaku could give Chelsea the edge

Matthijs de Ligt is off the table, Jules Kounde is off the table, what are Chelsea left with?

Well, the good news is that PSG still haven’t wrapped up their deal for Milan Skriniar, meaning there’s still a chance of signing him.

Football Italia report that the Inter defender is still a target for the Blues, as Inter want to sell him to raise funds.

The Italian side apparently want €70m, which is a whole lot more than Chelsea were ready to pay for Kounde.

The Romelu Lukaku loan move back to Inter earlier this summer adds a whole interesting dimension to this. If they’re keen to buy him permanently in a year’s time, perhaps Chelsea can leverage that to bring benefits to both sides.

There are comments under the blog that Inter are going to wait until the end of the window to get more money for him – we can see that being the case.
