Kalidou Koulibaly has touched down in London for his medical test ahead of his transfer to Chelsea.
The Senegal defender is on the verge of joining the Blues after a rapidly developing transfer which has come from nowhere and made him potentially the new centrepiece of Thomas Tuchel’s new-look back line.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Napoli man is going to touch down at Cobham for tests before going to join the squad in the USA – all being well with the medical, of course.
Kalidou Koulibaly, landed in London and set for medical tests then he will fly to Los Angeles to join the team – plan 100% confirmed, then Chelsea will unveil Kalidou as new signing. 🔵🛬 #CFC
Napoli and Chelsea are checking and signing the contracts right now.

Koulibaly was not first, or perhaps even second, choice centre back for the club this season, but after working their way down the list and with the weeks flying by, Todd Boehly’s group has clearly decided to pull the trigger on whoever they can get.
We’re excited to get the defender, there’s no doubt. But a 31 year old on a 5 year contract in exchange for £30m is pretty ground breakingly massive, and if its leads to Levi Colwill leaving, there will likely be a mutinous atmosphere around.
I want Chelsea to get Lorenzo unsigned asap I hear his a free man now his well exposed and he will bless in well
So lovely to see you among the squad boddy
So lovely all the best.
I love what I’m seeing at the BLUES CLUB . More signing, Boehly!
