Chelsea’s negotiating team were in Seville for 3 days trying to negotiate a deal for Jules Kounde, only to return home empty handed, according to a report from Spain.
Marcos Benito, on the infamous El Chiringuito, reported that the Blues had a team of “emissaries” in Spain trying to get a deal done for the defender, only to return to London without a n agreement.
Regresaron ayer a Londres.

Sevilla are asking for €60m, with another €10m in add ons, and Chelsea clearly consider that so far out of their estimations that no deal could be done.
After being messed around by the Spanish team last summer, the Blues clearly aren’t going to fall into the same trap again.
That puts a huge amount of pressure on Sevilla, who now have an unhappy player facing a second unwilling season in their back line.
It’s a question of who blinks first, and walking away from the negotiating table is a true power move.
