Chelsea are currently ongoing a complete hierarchy reshuffle, following the departures 0f Bruce Buck, Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech and the first name of the new-looked board is Tom Glick who looks set to be appointed.
That’s according to Sky News’, Mark Kleinman who reports Glick is set to take over ‘day-to-day’ running of Chelsea Football Club, with an official announcement likely to be ‘within days’.
Glick has a vast amount of experience behind him, where he used to be former executive at Manchester City and was a chief executive at Derby County FC between 2008 and 2012.
It is said it ‘remains unclear’ whether Glick would hold the title of chief executive at the west London club.
His most recent spell was at NFL’s Carolina Panthers where he was the president.
I feel this is a positive appointment by Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly, as he can now have the assistance from Glick to hopefully make use of his experience at the top level.
