Chelsea and Milan disagree over crucial part of Hakim Ziyech deal

Chelsea and AC Milan are negotiating over the future of Hakim Ziyech, and while great progress has been made, they seem to have reached a sticking point at last.

The Blues want to get rid of the winger – they’re happy to allow him to go on loan for a year if that makes things easier for Milan to finance, but the selling club also want the guarantee of a compulsory purchase option.

SempreMilan say that Milan are looking for an optional clause, which they can activate if they feel that the winger has performed. There’s the suggestion that there would be concrete objectives in terms of goals and assists that he could achieve to automatically transform it into a permanent deal.

We’re sure they will find common ground eventually, they’ve come this far, but ultimately this is going to be the biggest obstacle, and they will have to get past it to complete the deal.

  1. Alguien que le de dinero a estos tacaños italianos que todo lo quieren regalado…

  2. These people who bought Chelsea are going to scatter our darling football club. They should have operated with these players for 1 year whiles monitoring them in the first year of the purchase and allow 1 year of transition. The people who have made Chelsea successful have all gone, you want to achieve in 1 year what someone has taken 16years to build. You don’t play players and you say they don’t perform. We are watching them and we wish them luck.

  3. This is not fire service job, there’s no fire at Stamford Bridge to warrant all this desperate measures, Hakim Ziyech is a top class player who uses his head and should be kept. I used to like this manager but he’s messing up our team. The fact all his intended players are turning their backs on us is the world is out there that he’s a bit irrational and I bet he’s going to find it tough in his second spell with this attitude; he has to take it easy
