Agent given Barcelona ‘just over’ 48 hours to agree a deal

Seemingly the most interesting saga of the summer so far is where will wanted Leeds star Raphinha end up and today’s rumours from Brazil look like we could get a clearer idea in the coming days.

According to Brazilian journalist, Raisa Simplicio cited by Twiiter account Absolute Chelsea, Raphinha and his agent, Deco have given Barcelona ‘just over’ 48 hours to agree a deal with Leeds United, otherwise they will re-open talks with Chelsea over personal terms.

Today, we got an even clearer picture the Brazilian’s winger lies away from Leeds is that he was left out of their travelling squad for their pre-season tour of Australia.

This clearly indicates all parties want the 25-year-old’s future to be resolved quickly.

It is really a battle between Chelsea and Barcelona for his signature, who prefers a move to the Spanish giants but Chelsea’s official bid is better than Barca’s, who ideally want to pay in instalments.

Let’s see what’s in store. The joys of the transfer window…

    1. I wonder why Chelsea would be insisting on a player who prefers another club, his heart & head are somewhere else, look for alternatives Marco Asensio, Max Cornet, Antony from Ajax and many right sided attackers litter Europe & would have a move to Stamford bridge fulfill their dreams. Even if Raphinha comes to Chelsea, he might want to pull a Lukaku on us when he is well needed bcos he’s gonna sign on conditions of being a starter. Chelsea just needs to tweak the system and there are many players who would work perfectly like Ziyech. Lightning had better not strike twice

  1. Dembele and raphinha are they not playing same position why should Barcelona going for both players they should focus on one player and I should prefer raphinha over dembus couse dembus is prone to injuries.
