We’re in to the meat of the transfer window now, and bigger and bigger deals are getting done all the time.
Chelsea need defenders, and don’t seem to be making much progress in finding them. One of their targets is reported to be Matthijs de Ligt, who has a release clause of €120m.
On Sky, Kaveh Solhekol reported that he is a target for Chelsea – but that there’s “no way” the Blues would pay that much for him.
Thank goodness for that. We’ve had enough problems with big money signing in recent years.
