Thomas Strakosha’s move to Stamford Bridge is now a ‘concrete lead’

Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha has been linked with Chelsea in recent days, who’s contract is set to expire with the Italian side at the end of this month.

Today, Italian website Tutto Mercato Web cited by Sport Witness claim a move to the Blues is now at a ‘concrete lead’ as the interest from the Premier League side has found ‘fertile ground’.

This indicates there are high chances Kepa Arrizabalaga leaves Chelsea this summer, with sources claiming a deal is only possible if the Spaniard departs.

Newly promoted Fulham have also been linked to the Albanian, but the report mentions Fulham’s push so far has not led to an agreement.

Strakosha recently spoke to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on his podcast and mentioned his dream since a kid is to play in the Premier League.

The shot-stopper is set to become a free agent, which could make a deal easy for Chelsea to conclude if they get Kepa off the books.
