Now the Lukaku debacle is close to being over, Chelsea will start recruiting

Chelsea are ready to really get serious in the transfer market this season now the Romelu Lukaku debacle is close to being over.

You have to give props to new owner Todd Boehly here, because he has come in to the club and within three weeks, he has all but got rid of Lukaku from the squad, something that might have took a lot longer to do under the former regime.

Exclusive: Chelsea make Richarlison enquiry!

But Boehly is backing Thomas Tuchel and he wanted to get rid of a player who didn’t want to be at Chelsea anymore.

Now they have done this, albeit not yet officially, they will turn their attentions to making moves of their own and replacing Lukaku.

The big work is now about to start, and it will be a hugely important transfer window for Boehly and Tuchel, who will be leading the way here.

According to The Guardian, Chelsea will step up their transfer plans once Lukaku has gone. They are interested in Raheem Sterling, Ousmane Dembélé and Christopher Nkunku, while Everton’s Richarlison has emerged as a target.
